Mycala Gill

Mycala is the Executive Producer of the Data Feminism Network Podcast, for which she leads podcast logistics, performs audio editing, and develops content for the organization’s show.

 

Mycala is also a Senior Analyst at the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, where she works to support knowledge partnerships, content creation, and community building efforts that strengthen and advance Mastercard’s thought leadership on inclusive growth and sustainable development. 

 

Previously, Mycala worked in higher education supporting international student development at the University of British Columbia and Fraser International College. She was also an Executive Producer for Beyond the Headlines, a nationally syndicated, student-run current affairs radio show and podcast. Passionate about global development, Mycala has performed research and data analytics regarding sustainable agriculture in Tzimol, Mexico. She also completed a research internship with Action Against Hunger analyzing the intersection of food insecurity and gender-based violence in rural households of Peru.

 

Mycala has a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Global Affairs from the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto.
